Beautiful building in a fantastic setting. Views of surrounding countryside superb. Family suite large and comfortable (although very small bathroom for size of room).
Not enough staff, felt like the management were cost cutting eg only one waiter in restaurant in evening and often had to hunt down a member of staff to serve drinks in bar. No waiter service on terrace. Whilst still a lot of lovely furniture appropriate to the age and style of the buiding a lot had been replaced with new, cheap , modern designs which do not sit well with the character of the hotel.

The location was fab and good, just next door to all the fantastic wineries, a taxi in advance and an old Tuscan castle surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. We could drink something at Holsteins, located 1 km away. Choose deluxe room with an extra bed. The food was exceptional, welcoming service.

Fine views of the Tuscan landscape greet you every morning. The building itself feels like a grand mansion, with access to large, open rooms and expansive grounds that invite exploration.
The room furnishings could use an update. Many have an old, worn feel while the bathrooms are cramped and can be tricky to navigate without spilling water everywhere. High noise levels between rooms also detract from the overall experience.

This place is almost charming, if you ignore the cold room and the unbelievably dirty pool. I almost considered leaving a good review, but I woudl ve been fine with a little complimentary gesture for my troubles. Instead, I just got the basic, same treatment as everyone else. Absoluteley appalling, to say the least.

The location was beautiful we went to attend a friends wedding and the day was very well organised. We also did wine tasting which was enjoyable. We sayed in one of the rooms which was in the monastary it was spacious and shall I say quirky. The rooms werw warm and clean.
The choice of food was very limited we were there for 4 nights and the menu did not change consequently we ate elsewhere on the 3rd and 4th night. Breakfast was adequate but no variation I what was on offer. We stayed during the last week in October and the hotel closes on 1st Nov we had 3 light bulbs in our room that were out you wpuld imagine that a 4* hotel would have changed these but they didn't

pleasant stay with a few minor drawbacks
The fine setting provided amazing views of the Tuscan landscape-perfect for both morning coffee and evening strolls. Every breakfast surpassed our expectations, with fresh pastries and rich coffee that fueled our days. Our dinner experience was really good, filled with beautifully crafted dishes that showcased local flavors. The serene garden view enhanced the ambiance.
The room furnishings seemed a little dated, affecting the overall charm.

beautiful views but some room for improvement
The villa exudes charm with its fine views over the Tuscan landscape, perfect for sipping coffee in the morning. Dining was a highlight for us. The beautifully presented dishes provided an really good culinary experience. I appreciated the cute atmosphere, especially for our small dog, who felt right at home. The garden view added a serene touch to our stay.
The room furnishings could use an update, which takes away from the otherwise lovely environment.

The spacious grounds of Villa Pitiana provide a wonderful 2KM walking trail, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The Junior Suite we stayed in was impressively large, with a separate bedroom and a well-appointed living room with magnificent views of the surrounding olive groves and rolling hills. Dining was a highlight. Breakfast was substantial with fresh pastries and fantastic coffee, while the dinner was a amazing experience with artfully presented courses in a beautiful atmosphere.
The loft area in the room was somewhat dark.
